Welcome to DESIGN BY LEONARD (DBL) Website. These terms and conditions apply to your use of this Website. By using this Website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read the Terms and Conditions in full before you use this Website. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this Website.
We currently ship orders within New Zealand only.
The site contains material that is owned by DESIGN BY LEONARD (DBL) and is protected by New Zealand and International law, any unauthorized use of this material may violate copyright and other laws. All copyright and other intellectual property rights subsisting in the site and its content, including without limitation all images, graphics, text, logos contained in the site are owned by DBL.
Display prices on the website are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST. Prices are subject to change on the website without notice.
Payment for orders can be made by credit card via Paypal. We will not ship any items until we have received the full payment in our bank account. All credit cards transactions are securely processed by Paypal.
DISPATCH & DELIVERY
DBL will make every effort to dispatch all orders within 1-3 working days of the order being confirmed and receipt of payment. Each item will be carefully packaged for shipment. Your order will be delivered in 1-3 working days in the North Island and major city centres and 3-5 working days to the South Island. NZ Rural Delivery Post will take a bit longer – so allow another 2 days for Rural delivery. Delays or damage during shipping is the sole responsibility of the carrier providing shipping services. DBL will not be held responsible for any delays or damage caused during shipping. Claims for damages or loss in transit must be made against the carrier providing shipping services. In case of late delivery, we will not be liable for compensation.
All orders within New Zealand will be sent via Post Haste, PBT courier, Castle Parcel, Fastway or NZ Post. By default, all courier items will be sent with the requirement for a signature on delivery. However, if you find it more convenient for courier items to be left in the mailbox or other place on the property, please specify in the “Add Comments About Your Order” section that a signature is not required. Please note that we will not be responsible for items that go missing when the signature on delivery option is cancelled by the customer.
Delivery can only be made to a physical address NOT a PO Box.
These timeframes are, of course, subject to product availability. Furthermore, from time to time, issues might arise which mean we can’t meet these timeframes but, if that’s the case, we will let you know as soon as possible. Please note that our delivery charges are non-refundable.
Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive an email from us notifying you that it is on its way.
REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY
All items will be thoroughly checked and packed with great care to ensure they get to you in perfect condition. Please choose carefully, refunds are not provided for a change of mind but we are happy to exchange or refund products purchased online within 7 days of receipt, provided they are returned in their original, unused condition with the original packaging and tags.
Any items that are faulty were damaged in transit or were not ordered can be returned within 14 days of purchase for a refund or exchange or credit note but will not be accepted unless companies by a copy of the purchase receipt and a completed Return Form. Please email us at email@example.com and we can send you a copy.
Where a refund is requested and approved, we will credit your original method of payment with the price of the returned goods, excluding delivery charges (unless goods were faulty, damaged in transit or not as ordered).
In the event that we cannot supply a replacement, we will offer you a refund. No refunds or exchanges will be made for any other reasons.
PRIVACY & SECURITY
Your privacy and the security of your personal information is very important to us. Any information we collect from you is for the sole purpose of processing and delivering your order. This information will not be sold, rented or disclosed to anyone. DBL uses Paypal to process credit and debit card transactions. We, therefore, do not see nor store your credit card details.

Whilst we have prepared this website with proper care and diligence, no responsibility is accepted for the information included on the website. We make no representation, warranty or undertaking concerning the accuracy, completeness or up to date nature of the information provided. Interested persons should make their own enquiries and satisfy themselves in all respects about any information that is of importance to them.
We accept no liability whether direct or indirect for any loss or damage a person suffers because that person had directly or indirectly relied on any information provided on this website. We have done our best in presenting the products on our website as accurately as possible to help you make your purchase.
